A new SEAG sample paper, updated for the 2026 season. This test has been designed for pupils who are beginning the Transfer Test practice process.

With this free download you will receive two folders: one containing colour versions of the files (for using on a desktop, laptop or tablet), and one containing greyscale versions of the files (for printing).

You will receive a full 56-question SEAG-style test paper, a separate student answers page, and a page with the test answers (as well as an explanation for every answer).

This test has been written by Trevor Veale, full-time tutor at Catapult, former Key Stage 2 teacher, and author of the entire Catapult Papers series.

This paper is an ideal entry point to the Warm-Up Series of The Catapult Papers, which contains ten tests, designed for P6 pupils.
